A Back up team consisting of qualified physiotherapists, doctors and administration support will ensure all players are kept on track and up to date. Pastoral care is also high on out agenda, Norwich City is a caring, family Club and the holistic development and welfare of our young Players is a Paramount.

Our Academy benefits enormously from our bank of part time and voluntary staff, without their dedication and commitment the Academy would not be able to function as efficiently and effectively as it does today. They all work towards the same goal, aiding the progression of our young players.

It's not all football, the Academy has good links with schools around the region and is often in contact with them to ensure our players continue to work as hard as they can to achieve whilst at school. Upon entry to the football club as a scholar, each player's educational ability is taken into account and advice is given to every player before they choose which course to study as part of their scholarship.

In an industry that is looking to develop the young, talented and gifted, it is vital that the Academy structure is forward thinking and introduces new initiatives and trends in order to continually improve the next generation of professional footballers. We are constantly looking to implement ideas through our in service training and in-house coaches meeting. The introduction of the most up to date football technology ensures that all members of staff continue to enhance their own personal development by attending courses and seminars enabling them to pass on and implement the latest training techniques.
