NEW CFTC PATRON
Duncan MacInnes of Canaries for the Community (CFTC) welcomed Darren Huckerby as the new Patron of the scheme at Colney. CFTC was founded by Duncan in February 2003 and has seen him visit over 1500 patients at the Norfolk & Norwich Hospital, showing them highlights of the latest City games on a laptop computer.
In addition to the hospital visits, Duncan arranges two community projects in the summer with volunteer fans. This summer has seen fans painting the changing rooms and perimeter pitch railings at Wroxham FC and weeding, planting and painting benches at Priory Gardens in Wymondham.
Darren is the latest Patron following Simon Charlton and Malky MacKay in the role.
