JEREMY GOSS IMPRESSED WITH FAIR PLAY SCHEME
FLEGG High School and Norwich City Football Club continue to forge even closer links by working together to positively effect young children in our community with the Fair Play scheme.
The Fair Play scheme is designed to establish peer support schemes in every high school that request training and includes anti bulling strategies. The students of Flegg, who have been trained to offer confidential services to young people, run all the courses in the highly impressive Study Support Centre at Carrow Road.
Recently NCFC Community Ambassador, Jeremy Goss, paid a visit to Flegg High to meet the students involved and was very impressed with the professionalism shown by such young people.

Mike Ward, Deputy Head of Flegg High and the impressive students who offer peer support training to High Schools in the county.
"I was lucky enough to witness a role play-session put on by the students based on how to deal with bullies and I have to say that they were absolutely fantastic. I can see the real positive and confident effect this type of training will have on school children around the county who are being bullied. The must amazing thing is that the students run the sessions themselves with virtually no input by the teachers" said Jeremy.
"I would like to congratulate Cherry Crowley, Head Teacher, Mike Ward, Deputy Head, and all the students involved for designing and running such a crucial initiative."
The next peer support training day to take place at Carrow Road will be on Tuesday 5th February when the students of Flegg High will be offering advice to Reepham High School followed by North Walsham High School on the 14th May and Caister High School on the 18th June.
