THIS year's Norwich City Open Day will see Reserve Team Manager Paul Stephenson hold a half-hour coaching session for under-16s on the hallowed Carrow Road turf.

Free to attend, the Open Day takes place on Sunday, April 27 with the Club opening its doors to the general public between 1.30pm and 6pm. There will be the usual opportunity to meet first team squad members as well as taking part in many more activities around the ground.

To be in with the chance of taking part in this special coaching event, supporters are asked to write in to SoccerPM!, Norwich City Football Club, Carrow Road, Norwich, NR1 1JE with their name, contact phone number and age. Entries will be placed in a draw and notified by phone. All entries must be received by Monday, April 14.

As well as the coaching session the Club is also pleased to launch their second annual end-of-season awards aimed specifically at its young supporters - The SoccerPM! Awards.

These were launched for the first time last year with the aim of asking the Club's under-16 fans to vote for their favourite players in specific categories and is a separate competition from the annual Anglian Player of the Year award for which voting has already started.

The SoccerPM! award winners will be announced during the Club's Open Day with one lucky supporter from each category presenting to the winning player and also receiving a shirt signed by the first team squad.

The four categories are: Player of the Year, Best Newcomer of the Year (awarded to a City player who made his debut for the Canaries during the 2007/08 season), Coolest Player of the Year and Goal of the Season.

Youngsters wishing to vote for their Goal of the Season are asked to choose from the following goals: a) Simon Lappin v Cardiff City (01/09/07), b) Jamie Cureton v Ipswich Town (04/11/07), c) Darel Russell v Preston NE (02/02/08), d) Ched Evans v Cardiff City (09/02/08) or e) Jamie Cureton v Watford (04/03/08).

Votes must be cast before Monday, April 14 with the supporters winning the opportunity to present the players with their awards notified by April 25.
