OJ HAS HIGH HOPES FOR CITY
CITY new boy OJ Koromah says the Premiership is his main aim whilst at Norwich.
The youngster joined the Canaries on loan from Portsmouth - one of 11 new faces to come to Carrow road during a busy transfer period for manager Glenn Roeder.
Asked how he was settling in at the Club, OJ answered: "I'm loving every minute, all the staff and players have been really good to me. When I first came here everyone was really welcoming, so I'm really happy to be here.
"I didn't know that much about Norwich before I arrived but I knew they are a decent team and I knew about Glenn Roeder."
With thoughts amongst the Canaries firmly on the season ahead, Koromah was asked what his hopes were, both for the Club and his personal performances. "I want to get us back into the Premiership - when I had a look around the training ground and the stadium, I saw that it's a Premiership Club. I'll do my best to help the team get back there. For me personally, I just want to try and get goals and help the team do well.
Recent times have consisted of a whirlwind few weeks for the talented youngster. After being snapped up by Portsmouth after just two weeks on trial, OJ hasn't yet had the chance to make himself well known for Pompey and City fans alike. "I like to play off the striker and get the ball," he told First News. "I like to make runs in behind the defenders. I've spoken to a few of my friends who have played in the Championship for a while and they said that Coventry are a good team, so I'm looking forward to us playing them."
