A big goalkeeper with a loud voice, Gilks joined the Canaries in the summer after his contract with Rochdale expired. This is Gilks' first shot at the Championship after learning his trade in the lower leagues, but provides stiff competition for David Marshall for a place in the first team. A lively character off the pitch too, Gilks has proved to be a welcome addition to the Canaries' ranks.
