The Italian forward signed for Norwich City on a season-long loan from Italian Serie A side Fiorentina in July 2008.
Lupoli began his career at Parma with a fantastic scoring record for their U17 side before capturing Arsene Wenger's eye at Arsenal.
The left-footed frontman represented Arsenal nine times, scoring three goals, all in the League Cup including a brace against Everton in the fourth round at Highbury.
Arturo went out on loan to Championship side Derby County for the 2006/07 campaign, making his Rams debut against Norwich at Pride Park.
In November he scored an injury-time winner at Pride Park against Ipswich Town in a 2-1 win and two months later scored his first competitive hat-trick in the FA Cup third round victory over Wrexham.
Whilst at Derby, Lupoli, born in Brescia, made a total of 38 appearances, netting 11 goals.
When his Arsenal contract came to an end, the Italian returned home with Fiorentina on a five-year deal and was subsequently loaned out to Serie B side Treviso for the 2007/08 season.
An Italian Under-21 international, Lupoli scored on his debut at that level in a 2-0 win over Luxembourg in December 2006 and the 5ft 8in forward has represented his country in every age group since he was 16.
