The young midfielder from Hatfield signed a professional contract with the club in summer 2008.
Korey is another of City's young stars to have been discovered plying his trade on the Sunday league park pitches.
Smith, who named Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard as his football idol, when speaking to the Club's official matchday programme, 'On The Ball' in October 2007 said: "I think I'm good at attacking and good at making hard tackles and getting around the pitch. I'm looking to score more goals and to do that I need to get into the box more."
