HUCKS ANSWERS YOUR QUESTIONS
Q: Why did you choose to come to Norwich? Adam Murwald, Cromer
DARREN: A number of things really. My loan spell went well, I felt that I was appreciated here and it's a lovely place to live.
Q: What are the best and worst Christmas presents you have ever received? Tom Greenfield, Thorpe
DARREN: Worst would have to be socks and best was a nice watch that I got off the wife last year.
Q: Who did you admire as a young player? Sandy, Trunch
DARREN: Sounds silly but when I first went to Coventry it was Dion Dublin, we struck up a very good partnership straight away and I was lucky enough to learn from a great player. It's funny how it has come full circle and we are still playing together.
Q: How much of a difference can the crowd make to how you and the team play? Blair Luther-Veitch, Wymondham
DARREN: I think it makes a big difference, especially when the fans are behind you, you feel you can push on and it's always a better atmosphere if the fans are up for it.
Q: Do you think you will see out your playing days at City and what are your plans after hanging up your boots? Richard Clarke, Norwich
DARREN: I won't play for another British club, hopefully I'll stay here till the end of my career.
Q: Darren if you could buy a Christmas present for any of the players, who would it be and what would you get them? Carole Stewart, Old Buckenham
DARREN: I'd have to get two. I'd get Lee Croft some clothes because he is the worst dressed person I have seen in 20 years of football. And Jason Shackell a new broadband connection because his is rubbish when we want to play on Call of Duty 4.
Q: Your goal against Birmingham last year at Carrow Road must rank up there with the best that you have ever scored but do any others given you more satisfaction? Nigel Barnard, Norfolk
DARREN: I scored a few good goals for Coventry, goals against Liverpool, Man Utd and Chelsea but every goal gives you the same amount of satisfaction.
Q: As a footballer, is it hard having to watch what you eat on Christmas day? Anyone in the squad likely to be a bit overindulgent? Gordon Harper, East Runton
DARREN: You obviously have to watch what you eat because we have a lot of games over Christmas. People who will need to watch their weight are Jason Shackell because he over eats all the time and Lee Croft because he has a constant battle with his weight.
Q: Hucks out of all the players at City, who's the best one to play with? Jake Ward, Norwich
DARREN: The one I've played with most is Adam Drury. He plays left back and I play left wing. It proves how much of a good defender he is to play with me because I'm very cavalier and he has to do a lot of defending for me due to my lack of defensive work.
Q: When you hang up your boots (I hope you would consider another season if asked) will you still live in Norfolk? Geoff Riches, Great Yarmouth
DARREN: Yeah I'll definitely live in Norwich and hopefully I'll still have some connection with the Club later down the line.
