Q: How does it feel seeing a fellow Canary and goalkeeper leave the Club? Sarah Neave, Wymondham
Matthew: It's disappointing to lose a friend and a colleague from the Club, but on the positive side of things Joe is moving on to further his career.

Q: Do you have to have big hands to be a goalkeeper?
Sam, Thorpe
Matthew: Not necessarily, but it does help!

Q: What is the most memorable moment in your career to date? Paul Boulton, Swindon
Matthew: Probably playing in the fifth round of the FA Cup for Rochdale against Wolves.

Q: How good are the young goalkeepers coming through the Norwich City Academy? Simon Peach, King's Lynn
Matthew: They are excellent. We have two young England 'keepers there who have very good prospects.

Q: Which ground would you play on apart from Carrow Road? George Wilson, Stowmarket
Matthew: I would like to play at Old Trafford, it's a fantastic stadium.

Q: I would like to know if you are a bit of a joker and if so what is the best joke you have played on your team-mates? Blair Luther-Veitch, Wymondham
Matthew: I'm definitely a bit of a joker, but I'd rather keep the jokes that I have played on the lads in the dressing room!

Q: Some people say 'keepers are over protected during games now, do you agree? Colin, Old Buckenham
Matthew: Yes. You get the slightest knock now and you get a free kick. I'd like to see a bit of the old-fashioned grit and get on with it.

Q: Who would you say is the best goalkeeper in the world now? Ashley Lucas, Great Yarmouth
Matthew: That's a really hard question! In terms of English football I have trained with Jussi Jaaskelainen and I think he has been quality for years but I think David James is a great goalkeeper as well.

Q: If you could be a professional sportsman in any other sport what would it be and why? Lee, Old Catton
Matthew: I'd be a snooker player. I'm a big snooker fan. It takes a lot of dedication and commitment and it is such a skill to master. It would be good to be as great as the professionals

Q: What's it like having Crofty as a neighbour? Keith, Bury St Edmunds
Matthew: He's not bad, well not as bad as I thought he would be. He is good if you need some tea bags and a cup of sugar. Although his dog does come rampaging through the gardens!
