Three new members of the SCG were introduced to the meeting - Sharon Matthews, Richard Martin and David Hawley.

2. MATTERS ARISING

R. Gough asked for group reaction to the audio programme CDs he had distributed at the last meeting.

Reservations were raised about the voices used and their pronunciation of names. It was also felt the readers had monotone voices which created no excitement. It was felt a good concept but which needed to be presented better. W. Hoy to take forward feedback. Publicity of the CD and points of sale had been increased around the stadium. It was also felt that the product had sponsorship potential with relevant businesses such as care home and services.

Suggestion was made to whether a downloadable version of the matchday programme could be placed on the website. R. Gough confirmed this was being investigated but there were security issues involved.

3. WORKING GROUP UPDATES

Pricing

Meetings will be scheduled in November. Rates of non-renewal were queried with the Club continuing top of the Championship attendances. People have opted to stay on the season ticket waiting list without taking the option of taking a season ticket - many of these may be waiting for the Club to be promoted to the Premiership.

Member Selection

Two supporters with disabilities have enquired about joining the Disabled Working Party.

Home Matchday Experience

Recent emphasis has been placed on the introduction of the Flybe Canary Express coach service. 350 people are already using the service, which includes 16 routes and 100 stops.

Disabled

The group is continuing to work on planning the annual Ability Counts - Disability Awareness Week.

Long Distance

The next meeting of the group is on Saturday, September 22 ahead of the Wolves match at Molineux. The Club has on behalf of long distance supporter groups contacted supporters on the Club database highlighting the existence of a group in their area.

Communications

J. Ferrari highlighted that a solution had been found regarding email security for an SCG contact email address. Members of the working group will field messages and direct them where necessary for a response. This should be in place by the end of September.

The Pink 'Un have been approached regarding an SCG column. However, they would like a weekly entry and it was felt by the group that a monthly article would be more realistic. Therefore it is suggested that every SCG member undertakes an article, which will sit in the SCG section of www.canaries.co.uk

The Club's bulletin board and the quality of the PTV service was discussed.

The restrictions placed on public access to Colney were raised. The Club is to confirm entry arrangements with first team manager for supporters wishing to attend Academy matches at Colney, which clash with first team training sessions.

Pre-match entertainment was discussed and whether the Club was seeking improvement to the atmosphere in the stadium. It was confirmed that it was and the 'Song for City' competition was an example of that. It was confirmed that the Club had received complaints about the increased pre match sound levels within the stadium and this would be monitored over the next home games.

Young supporters

The format and venues of SoccerPM! On Tour roadshows was discussed, as was the content of SoccerPM! at reserve matches.

Image and Identity

W. Hoy highlighted this working party's objectives to develop Norwich City Football Club's brand image, including the Club crest and fonts in the commercial market place and to promote the Club generally.

D. Hawley asked whether any proposed changes would have to be approved by shareholders in light of the re-branding failures of other companies and the effect it can have on the image of your organisation. N. Doncaster confirmed this was not a legal requirement. It was highlighted that the Club appreciated the emotional nature attached to the Club's crest and that supporter involvement would be an important factor in any process, protected by the involvement of supporters on this working party.

Travel Plan

It was agreed that this working group would be combined with the Home Matchday Experience Working Group.

Away Match

More regular meetings were requested to make the group more reactive to events and needs of travelling supporters.

Issues such as the allocation of Colchester tickets and the Club Canary tender renewal process are being looked at.

An annual satisfaction survey for supporters using the away coach travel service is being planned.

The Football League's Mystery Supporter initiative has given the Club the ability to gain an away fans perspective of customer service and experience.

4. ANY OTHER BUSINESS

Advertising Boards
J. Woodrow asked the Club if it had progressed with an earlier enquiry he made about the safety of the advertising boards at Carrow Road. N. Doncaster to progress.

Yellows
R. Emery had concerns over the loss of football memorabilia in Scores after its refurbishment and rebranding as Yellows and whether the cost of this revamp was justified and would provide additional revenue above that of opening Delia's seven days a week.

K Platt confirmed that The Historical Trust has retained all items originally in Scores for future re-housing.

N Doncaster confirmed that a business plan had been completed for the refurbishment process and the potential income stream justified the cost involved.

5. DATE OF NEXT MEETING

The next full SCG meeting to take place on November 26.
