SoccerPM! ON TOUR
At selected dates, under 16 roadshows are held throughout the county. Get along for the all usual SoccerPM! fun and games, plus the chance to meet and question first team players.
The last SoccerPM! on Tour of the 2007-08 season was held at Northgate High School in Dereham on Monday, March 17.
Darel Russell, Gary Doherty and Robert Eagle met around 200 fans who came along to take part in the free FITC coaching session, SoccerPM! activities in the school hall and question and answer session.
SoccerPM! on Tour visited Aylsham High School on Monday, February 18.
The family-orientated event began with the Football in the Community team providing a free coaching session for local children. Then the school's main hall was the venue for free interactive competitions and activities. Young fans had the opportunity to meet first team players Jamie Cureton, Jon Otsemobor and Rossi Jarvis to take photographs and collect autographs. The players also took part in a question and answer session with the children later on in the evening hosted by Club Community Ambassador Jeremy Goss.
The first SoccerPM! on Tour roadshow of this season was held on November 12 at Cliff Park High School, Gorleston.
Up to 60 local children took part in a free coaching session with Football In the Community, then joined around 200 people for the SoccerPM! fun in the main school hall. Club mascots Captain Canary and Splat the Cat were there as well.
Norwich City players Simon Lappin, Chris Brown and on loan Chelsea midfielder Jimmy Smith met fans and signed autographs, then took part in a question and answer session hosted by Club Community Ambassador Jeremy Goss.
