FLYBE HALF-TIME CHALLENGE
ON the penultimate home game of the season, we invited our top performing competitors back to play for our grand final prize of a 2 night break in Jersey with hotel accommodation and car hire all included, provided by the Club's main sponsor Flybe.com.
Our three finalists included Elliot Holman, winner from the Leicester City fixture, Simon Parle, winner from the Stoke City fixture and Rob Haylett, winner from the Colchester United fixture. All three were invited back to take part in our Crossbar Challenge final during half-time of the West Bromwich Albion fixture.
Unfortunately, both Elliot and Simon failed to find the woodwork with any of their five attempts. Rob however, managed to curl a shot onto the bar and win the short break to Jersey, courtesy of Flybe.com.
We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who took part, and congratulations to Rob, the winner of this season's Crossbar Challenge.
FLYBE HALF-TIME Vs QPR
On Saturday, Club sponsor, Flybe, have kindly offered Gordon Barnes of Brooke the chance to take penalty kicks against a Norwich City Academy goalkeeper at half time. Gordon, who suffers from Parkinson's, will be taking five kicks against a possible future City star, raising vital funds for the Parkinson's Disease Society (PDS) and one-to-one support for people with Parkinson's in Norfolk.
You'll be able to support Gordon take on the challenge by making donations to the Parkinson's Disease Society at half time behind the Barclay goal. If you can't be there on the day, you can donate by post to 'Penalty Kicks for Parkinson's', Parkinson's Disease Society, 215 Vauxhall Bridge Road, London, SW1V 1EJ.
