SCHOOLS VISIT CARROW ROAD
Children from Mill View Middle School and Larkman Middle School have been selected to take part in a club called 'Footy Friday'.
This club has been running from the first Friday of the summer term, 20th April and will continue to run until the final Friday, 13th July. The club uses educational activities working in partnership with the Study Centre at Carrow Road, this allows pupils to visit NCFC Study Centre (on selected dates) and use facilities. Most sessions run in the NELM annex at Mill View Middle School under the management of Tony Murphy.
The aim of the club is:
To develop and increase pupils' competence, enjoyment and confidence with words and numbers by using their interest in football.
"Footy Friday pupils from Larkman Middle School and Mill View Middle School visited the grounds of NCFC collecting facts about the stadium. The two sets of school children worked together very well demonstrating high levels of understanding and team work the day before Norwich's last home game of the season.
Many children worked in pairs with a peer they had not known prior to events at NCFC. On the school bus the pupils had many positive comments about their visit, not least: 'I wish I could come here every day instead of school!'
Here are some photos of the children during their visit:
