Continued limited allocation of tickets for Under-7s to go free
A working group comprising staff and fans from our Supporters Consultative Group worked together to agree the details of our 2008-09 season ticket policy.
The price of a standard early renewal adult season ticket in the Barclay has risen by just £10 to £366.
Once again supporters can save up to 13 per cent on the cost of their season ticket by renewing before the first deadline.
Our interest-free payment scheme is as popular as ever, with more than 9,000 fans last year choosing to spread the cost of buying their season tickets over three, six or nine months.
This year, to make season tickets even more affordable to supporters they can now spread the cost of paying for their ticket over 12 months.
From the start of next season, family areas at Carrow Road will include all of the Norwich and Peterborough Stand and most of the Norwich Union Community Stand. This is an increase of nearly 5,000 new family seats.
In a bid to continue to enable young fans to enjoy the excitement of first team football at Carrow Road, the Club is once again setting aside 150 seats in the Wensum Corner for casual tickets exclusively available to Under-12s and their parents/guardians, with Under-7s getting in free.
City Director of Sales and Marketing Andrew Cullen commented: "The increase in the number of family seats, better prices for Under-21s and the ability for all supporters to now be able to spread the cost of season tickets up to 12 months have all been designed with one thing in mind - to reaffirm the Club's commitment to its cherished principle of affordable family football for everyone in our community.
"We have been so fortunate to enjoy such unprecedented and resilient attendances at Carrow Road and indeed such outstanding support has translated into Norwich City's sale of season ticket sales being the best in the Football League for three consecutive seasons. We thank each and every season ticket holder and it is our fervent hope that they will see fit to renew for another season - and that the new initiatives outlined today will encourage many others to consider investing in a 2008-09 season ticket."
Chairman Roger Munby added: "I think these initiatives meet the vital criteria of relevance and affordability to our supporters. It is a comprehensive and thoughtful approach to encouraging new fans to sign up for a season ticket and existing season ticket holders to renew, whilst we strive with Glenn Roeder, his coaching staff and his team to match the commitment of our fans with continued improvements on the pitch."
